Dogs in Your Wedding

Have you always dreamed of having your dogs a part of your special day? Whether they are a ring bearer, a friend to walk you down the aisle, or there for photographs?
As you all know we just got married August 1, 2020. It was the most special day and everything we could have asked for under all the circumstances, with this being such an unpredictable year. Many things were and had to be different with COVID-19, but that didn’t change anything for us. Sure we had less guests than planned and did it on our farm instead of our chosen venue, but that just made it more intimate and special. Honestly in the end, the only thing that matters is that we are happy, in love and still got married regardless of all the other minor details.
While planning, we originally had our four-legged family members, Duke and Tia as the ring bearers. After giving it more thought it would have been an extra stress we didn’t need. Guests would probably get dirty and both Duke and Tia would get excited from seeing so many people. They are well behaved but we just didn’t want to worry about it. With all the last minute surprises, everything came out so positive in the end. We still did not have our dogs in our wedding (did I mention it also poured rain on our wedding day?), BUT we did get some nice photos with them.

There are so many incredible ways to make your pet’s a part of your special day. They can be alongside you the entire way through, you can have a family member or close friend care for them and hold them throughout the ceremony, or you can hire a pet service to take care of everything for you (Dani’s Pet Palace) - we want your thoughts on offering this NEW SERVICE?!, the options are endless.
Having them in our photos after the ceremony is what suited what we wanted and what worked out best for us. What is your dream day like with your four-legged family members?
